@Cristina88
If I upload all the documents on the UKVCAS website on 20th itself, what documents are required for the appointment?
In addition to my previous post for you.
After you pay and submit; the best approach will be to upload all documents on UKVCAS and submit to UKVI via the document upload page. Note, you can submit only once. However, you will be given an option to add more documents at your appointment/using IDV app at a later stage if needed.
Then you will have to wait, UKVCAS will email you when system opens up for you. Keep checking UKVCAS flash message and this topic for recent developments. Usually the system opens up even before an official update is made so you will have to be pro active.
If you are eligible for IDV app and choose to go for booking appointment instead; For the appointment, you need to carry original passport and appointment confirmation is mandatory only. However, its always recommended to carry all
originals just to be on the safe side. No need to carry print outs of soft copies. The staff will not check anyways but just as a precaution you should carry as stated above.
Hi there, thanks for your updates. I have submitted my online application on 16 Sep to transfer my ILR to BRP but have not yet uploaded any documents. Before I do that, can I ask if passport photo is required and if so, they only require a soft copy (thus I do not need to bring a copy with me during the appointment)? Thank you in advance for your advice!

No physical passport photo is required. They will take your digital photo at the appointment. You will have to wait for instructions as when to book an appointment in due course.

Ah ok - so I do not need to upload any digital photo either? In that case I will just wait to receive the appointment email. Thank you so much!

Looks like doing dual submission might not have done anything for me, applied SET(M) 22nd June, IDV submission 28th August, In person biometrics 15th September.
Usually people are getting their decision quicker after that, I hope the girl that was being "trained" during my in-person appointment in Croydon didn't mess up, as her senior apologised and said we are training this new person today.
Wait continues....

I have followed this forum for 4 months now. Very help. I submitted my application on the 12th of June, biometrics invitation on the 28th of August, submitted photo via idv on the 29th of August. I realised dual biometrics was paying off so I booked ent (FREE) at Landsdowne Road on the 16th of September. Received decision email 17th of September @8.30am.
Personal opinion, who used IDV, few people have received decisions on the 3rd week but if you like, just book a free biometrics appointment.
All the best to everyone and thanks to all whi shared their experience as it has helped me and many.

Why are you using the app after already submitting biometrics at the appointment?
Why do you want to mess up your application?

Anyone's been waiting for over 10 days after submitting biometrics in person? I submitted SET (O) as T2 G dependent after 5 years at Lansdome on 10th Sept (was not eligible for IDV app) and haven't heard anything back.
Hey, I submitted my fingerprints etc in person on 9th and still nothing. I am A ILR Set O tier 2 (5 years) applicant.
I am not sure that the HO check are based upon but I came to the UK 11 years ago as a student.. so may be my application takes longer because of my long history in the UK
hm...but if it's based on 5years, I doubt your earlier history would matter that much. It's frustrating when most people report receiving decisions in just a couple of days, hope we'll get ours early next week. From others timeline it seems very rare for waiting over 10 days after submitting biometrics in-person.

In my personal opinion majority decisions (March - July applicants) based purely on IDV app are taking 3/4 weeks on average. I believe, coming week we will see many decisions pouring in for this lot.
Anyone who has submitted biometrics in person and still have not heard back or went for dual submission and still waiting (March - July), most likely the enquiries on your case are outstanding. You will hear soon after the enquiries are completed.
Applicants who submitted applications in Aug/Sep, its too early to expect anything anyways.

Anyone submitted via the app and then booked in-person appointment would be able to scan and submit further documents at UKVCAS. However if you go straight for in-person appointment you would not be able to submit anything else via the app.

Few people confirmed they had received approval emails on Saturday but I haven't seen anyone got this on Sunday.

got a message from other forum/group that super priority appointment will start in phased manner and only limited number of slots will be available each day. I told my partner, that we wont believe it until Cullinan/Immigration board confirms this
.. so if anyone here can provide confirmation?
To manage demand a set number of customers per day can use super piority service. Once this number has been reached the option to select this service will not appear on your online application form.....its says on visa and immigration service .gov.uk..
Useful to copy paste the link?

I think this is the old policy for applicants, as it seems HO hasn’t updated the superiority service to suspension on every website, even though it isn’t actually provided. Hope my interpretation is wrong.

Hi,
Can anyone tell why those who have applied for SET(LR) aren't seeing any quick response?
Also, please people who have applied for SET (LR) can you use the SET (LR) only page and add your timeline so we can see if they are working on our application.
indefinite-leave-to-remain/lond-residen ... s#p1936135
Thank you
Pure supposition on my part but it may be, given the risk of redundancies following the end of the furlough scheme, that they are prioritising applications that are employment specific. For Tier 2 General applicants, losing their job before a decision is made would render their application void whereas I don't believe the same applies for SET (LR) applicants. I do stand to be corrected though.
Hi, we who are applying under SET(LR) too work and would need our visas to show to our bosses. We have to do other things that are dependent on our gaining ILT.
Will need to escalate as I wanted to buy a house but cos my application was pending I couldn't complete the process and lost the opportunity.
SET (LR) MATTER TOO.

Following this thread closely for some time and some other forums, obviously it depends on complexity of case but in general it seems like
- fastest decision is coming for those going for both IDV & appointment?
- Then little more time for appointment only (opt out) folks and finally
- longest for those went for IDV only.
Does that mean for those applying they should do safe side both IDV & appointment ?

If you have got idv invite i think its best to do both but it doesn't surely make a difference i personally would go for appointment instead of idv
