I think it is too early for September applicants to receive decisions.
Two completely different applications, teams and requirements. Ilr is an immigration rules application, citizenship is nationality laws application. Different ilr routes also have different ilr teams working on applications.terry82 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 12:55 pmWhen ILR people are getting results within a week .I dont think it is unreasonable to have such expectation? Or may be Naturalization process is much tougher than ILR ?Not sure if this is the case or ILR team is much bigger than Naturalization team.Endless possibilities...
Do you mean people applying to citizenship having ILR already or people applying to ILR to begin with?terry82 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 12:55 pmWhen ILR people are getting results within a week .I dont think it is unreasonable to have such expectation? Hi
I have, seems to be 3-4 weeks after IDV in general. A lot of approvals during the week of 14th then slowed down. I hope they haven't slowed down because of inability to arrange ceremonies.....
I feel dual submission decisions have also slowed down after UKVCAS has gone to normal operations....littlebuns wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 5:57 pmI have, seems to be 3-4 weeks after IDV in general. Seems that way. Are you on BC spouse route? those cases used to be processed more quickly..CULLINAN wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 6:03 pmI feel dual submission decisions have also slowed down after UKVCAS has gone to normal operations....littlebuns wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 5:57 pmI have, seems to be 3-4 weeks after IDV in general. Best of luck to you. Perhaps email to ask for a status update, I plan to do that at 3 months mark.
Thank you. Hmm no its not advisable to ask for an update that soon. I hope I hear soon but otherwise I will wait before 6 months are over.littlebuns wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 6:14 pmBest of luck to you. Perhaps email to ask for a status update, I plan to do that at 3 months mark.
I sent a status update after the 6month expired last week. I got an immediate reply saying, due to the higher number of applications and the COVID situation, its taking longer than usual to process naturalisation applications. I have emailed my MP and I have a voice call scheduled on Wednesday.littlebuns wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 6:14 pmBest of luck to you. However, last Friday I sent email to request for Status update, I don’t know if that might have yielded a quicker result.
Application submitted online on 13/06/2020
Good luck and many thanks to all.
