USMP programme - Do mainframe programmers qualify ?

I am a mainframe programmer working on COBOL , MVS , DB2 , VSAM , CICS for the past 4 years.The domain where I am working right now is Insurance.

Can anybody suggest me whether I can apply under USMP ?[/b]

There is a set criteria to qualify for HSMP. As long as you have the required points you will be alright regardless of your proffesion.

The more pertinent question you want to ask is if there is a demand for your skill sets in the UK. You can go to some UK job boards and do searches.
