Is it ok to go for a biometric appointment in person even after submitting through the IDV app? At least it appears in person looks to be faster when it comes to outcome. Also, I am getting a free appointment nearby so it would not do any harm as such.

Croydon 02.10.20 only one available paidgag285 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:46 pmAny one with access to appointments able to see availability around London please. My solicitors tell me the earliest available is 23rd Oct which they have booked for us but I have no faith in them. I can push them to rebook if there are earlier slots available in/around London
Also note the 2.10.20 one would be a cancellation (i.e. someone would have cancelled) most probably. So someone lucky will get it.asap8 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:58 pmCroydon 02.10.20 only one available paidgag285 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:46 pmAny one with access to appointments able to see availability around London please. other locations few appointments on 16.10.20 paid
Well why not? You can go for 2nd also regardless if you submitted today. But, depends if its still available or booked already.

You risk a fine of £1000.
Google the BRP return address.

Noting is wrong with your brain I am also waiting Since May 28 SET (M) application F2F Bio done 21/08/2020 we got to wait, am sure our time will com eventually.debrancherenzym wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 6:27 pmCongratulations to all people receiving approvals, my brain is now thinking something is wrong with my SET (M) application, hopefully before outright rejection UKVI will ask for additional documents if required
Thanks CULLINAN just that I won't have been able to get hold of solicitor to rebook before tomorrow. I wish I had thought about these things earlier. I tried to get them to have my UKVCAS account linked with the Visa Application but that was against their protocol so here I am, at their mercy now.
tom88jerry wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 7:57 pmJust recieved email from HO today. My tier 2 visa extension has been sucessful. Now waiting for BRP and then joining ILR waiting train.
Does anyone know when the priority service will be back? Anytime soon? No, we don't know, as is answered almost daily on the forum.
Thanks Cullinan and everyone in this thread.
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting
I am feeling the same way as I saw some May/June applicants receiving decisions. I hope they will contact us if rejection is on the table.debrancherenzym wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 6:27 pmCongratulations to all people receiving approvals, my brain is now thinking something is wrong with my SET (M) application, hopefully before outright rejection UKVI will ask for additional documents if required
No need. Dual submission decisions have slowed down anyways. It seems to only work for earlier applicants who have been waiting for very long. You only applied on 15th Sep.

If you would have bought Euromillion lottery that day, you would have won that too
Thank you so much , great help !
