Hi 7h
Every one
Who are claiming benefits those applications on pending most likely to delay decisions but for working people has decided early
Maybe it’s reason of late decision but waiting time is very panic .
A refugee is allowed to claim benefits ,hence claiming benefits hasnt got anything for HO to refuse or delay an application. It is always said by some lawyers & migrants that claiming benefits has wrong impact on immigration history ,I dont think it is any true as if someone is allowed to get benefits they should get benefits as it is very hard to survive without job specially for families .Paying tax isnt a key to get a positive decision while it totally depends what category the application is on. Benefits system itself is broken & most people abuse it & most of them are born here who abuse it cause they take it for granted.
Hi London22
You are right.claiming benefits is not a crime. I think anyone is not able to work or find work who can able to claim social support like benefit. Refugee visa never notified that you should not claim benefits,if you need to apply ILR so I think we don't need build a new story/reason for delaying SET P applicstion decision. it is a bad time for all COVID 19 and it is a great opportunity for HO to dealy our application.
Feel 'ALL IS WELL' we all get our ILR soon.
Thanks.

That's great Land Mohd. Congratulations!

You must be relieved to find out the outcome and now easily able to proceed with your tenancy agreement and life as normal.

Could you please share your timeline for all of us to see and be hopefully that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Applied for ILR set P on 01-04-2020
Gave my Biometric the rough IDV on 22-08-20

After not hearing from the home office and reading and hearing other people saying that home office process in person appointment faster than IDV. I’ve decided to book an appointment.

In person biometric given: 06-10-2020

While I’m there after giving my biometric fro the second time, I’ve asked the employer when will I hear from the home office he said “ I don’t know but let’s hope you hear something within 24hour “

This morning 07-10-20 I got an email from Home Office Atlas that’s my ILR application was successful and I shall get my biometric card within 7 working days.

How did you give the biometrics second time? Are that using Sopra Steria through UKVCAS website? I thought you cannot rebook your biometrics appointment, if you have already done once!

Yes indeed, you can book an appointment and re-submit your biometric if you have used IDV app previously. Just go to UKVCAS as normal and select book an appointment.

IDV app is identity verification app used by the home office to submit application during the lockdown however, HO should invite you to use the app.

The 24 hours thing is nothing, I just asked the employer who took my biometric details how long do I have to wait till I hear something from the HO and the above statement is what he responded with. However, I didn’t ask him details and just responded by okay and left.

Hope I answered ur question and good luck pal!

Yes this the address they have given me too. I spoke to confirm the address because I was confused which one is more relevant, they told me for set P indefinite leave to remain there is no time frame. It can take as much time as they want. I am upset and ask your suggestion in this regard.

Good Luck!
I think this is not true i found some information on UKVCAS website

This info
Application submissions
After you have submitted your application via the IDV app or at a UKVCAS appointment, all supporting information is sent to UKVI within 24 hours.

UKVI have told us that they aim to deal with ALL applications in date order. This means that your case will be dealt with by UKVI based on the date of your registration with UKVI/UKVCAS.

If you have been selected to use the IDV app, please do so.
UKVI have assured us that booking an appointment does not mean that your application will be processed more quickly
