Set(O) dependants question

Post by peter-london » Fri Oct 09, 2020 5:28 pm

Hello,

I am applying for ILR Set(o) next week, my tier 2 general visa is expiring end of this month for myself and my dependants (wife and 1 year old daughter). We will not be adding my daughter to our application as we are planning to apply for her naturalisation after we get the ILR, since she was born in the UK.

Could someone please advise if there is any risk with this approach since her visa is expiring soon?

Thanks in advance.

No issues, however, it's registration not naturalisation when it comes to kids.

You'll have to submit MN1 application for your kid once you get your ILR approved.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Why are you repeating your self and doing the same thing again tagging your questions onto someone else’s topic?!?!

Plead do not tag your questions onto other members topics that have no relevance to your circumstances.

Pleasr also do not private message members asking the same question.

Your job is irrelevant to your tier 2 dependent ilr, as already answered when you asked in July.
