Long residence ILR application

Post by sun007 » Thu Oct 08, 2020 12:58 pm

Quick Question,

1)I am applying my ILR Set LR in Nov (Tier 2 ICT 7.5 year then Tier 2 General 2.5 year)
If I resign current job/terminate the existing visa after applying ILR, is there any impact to my ILR application?

2)My wife&child are with me in uk for last 7 years and here T2G PBS Dep visa expiring in Dec.
Can I submit ILR dependent application along with my application?
Any advise please?

1. No.

2. FLR M visa yes if they meet the requirements, English for your spouse and £22,400pa income with evidence (so probably best not to resign from your job). If your ILR fails, their FLR M will also fail.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Again few more question
1) What is the English requirement for FLR M (B1 is enough?)
2) About Financial:- If I lose my job then what are the other possibilities to show Finance?
I have read that "{Copied from other websites:
You can also rely on any pension, maternity allowances or bereavement benefits received in the UK, as well as cash savings over £16,000.}
So if we can show £16000 pound in my spouse bank account, is that enough?

1. Yes because of higher than A1 & A2

2. Not enough. These need be at least £62500 (if no other source of income is combined)

For an application for the first phase of spouse visa (from abroad) or Flrm (from inside the UK) an A1 test is needed, whereas A2 at the time of extension followed by B1 at the time of ILR/settlement. But a large of swathes of applicants scrumptiously get inclined over B1 due to its strategic benefit such as usability in future applications. Interestingly, all test are almost homogeneous.

2) Documents list for myself SET LR.
2.1 my passport (all)
2.2 BRP (all previous visas)
2.3 Life in uk test

Is there any other document needed for FLR M or SET LR

@sun007 , you should ask your FLR M questions in the family immigration sub forum. These questions are not relevant to an ILR topic or the ILR sub forum!
