spouse visa Question

Post by mfar » Mon Sep 28, 2020 4:41 pm

Hi guys
Quick questions about Spouse visa
my wife's visa expiring next month i need to apply for extension
Q1- i will submit form most probably next week , i know they are asking document by uploading on app after around month or so, usually letter expiry dates are 28 days e.g.employment letter etc. so do i have to ask my employer to issue letter now or when they will ask.
Q-2 i have been claiming universal credit benefits, but i am fulling the financial requirement with my salary though. in the form there isnt any option of Universal credit so i chose the last option"NO" , will it be any problem.
Carer's Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Severe Disablement Allowance
Industrial Injuries Disablement Allowance
Attendance Allowance
Personal Independence Payment
Armed Forces Independence Payment
Guaranteed income payment under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme
Constant Attendance Allowance
Mobility Supplement
War Disablement Pension under the War Pensions Scheme
Police Injury Pension
No, my partner does not receive any of these benefits

Q-3 how long is taking visas now a days rough time
thanks in advance

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and NOT the document upload date or biometric appointment date.

No to this question as it is ONLY relevant to those applying through adequate maintenance who are exempt from the financial requirement.

8 weeks and up to 6 months.

You only need an employer letter which apparently they are giving you which should have the following key information. Also, if you have earned at least £9300 during the last 6 months then you can meet the financial requirement regardless of the type of new contract is being offered/proposed.
A letter from the employer(s) who issued the payslips at paragraph 2(a) confirming:
• the person's employment and gross annual salary
• the length of their employment
• the period over which they have been or were paid the level of salary relied
upon in the application
• the type of employment (permanent, fixed-term contract or agency)

You have to keep persuading them for an employer letter which is a key requirement.

Seems satisfactory. If you are undertaking any extra work (overtime) then it can also be added in it.

The app is no longer available to those applying for FLR except for students.

No it won't assuming the application was submitted on time before her visa is due to expire and you will be covered under section 3C until decision have been made on her application.
