Tier-4 dependent delay

I applied tier-4 dependent visa on 10 Sept (from islamabad) & still application is in progress. I escalated the case on 2 Oct.

Is this the case with everyone or only with me?

I heard that visa application are getting delayed due to COVID backlogs.

Did anyone face same situation ? thanks
