Passport application help! Shortened name?!

Hello,

I have my citizenship ceremony booked for 30th October. And hopefully straight after I will be applying for my first British passport.

My issue is, currently I have three middle names in my current Egyptian passport

My question is, can I omit two of the three middle names when applying for the British passport or does my name have to exactly match my Egyptian passport?

Change your name by deed poll after you have a British passport and then reapply


You might still have to change your Egyptian passport too though. HMRC is strict with people not have two different names/identities and British passport must match foreign passport.
