Spouse Visa Documents

Post by blue246 » Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:25 am

I'm submitting an application for my husband's Appendix FM Spouse Visa and keep seeing conflicting information about supporting documents. Is this list ok?

Everything mentioned will be formatted in A4 colour PDFs.

Applicant information:
- copy of passport data page and all pages with immigration stamps
QUESTION - are the blank pages needed to? to show that nothing is being missed
- birth certificate (although may not be required)
- first page of visa application with GWS number (once done)
- confirmation of visa fees payment (once done)
- confirmation of IHS fees payment (once done)
- Applicant letter of support

Sponsor information:
- copy of passport bio page
- Sponsor letter of support
- 7 months pay slips (latest one dated within 28 days) - signed by employer
- 7 months bank statements - online copies verified by bank
- confirmation of employment letter -including my name, start date, salary, role, date salary started, permanent contract & stating that payslips are genuine
- latest P60
- contract of employment (for added measure)
QUESTION - Do i need to complete Appendix 2 VAF4A financial information and SU07 sponsor information forms?
QUESTION - Do i need to copy my passport pages that have stamps - current and old passport that includes flights mentioned within the application?

Accommodation: - I own the property we will live in
- mortgage letter & statement (dated within 28 days and confirmed as a verified copy by the bank as it was faxed)
- Mortgage completion letter (it is less than 1 year old)
- Land registry title register - downloaded from the site this week (not original copy)
- downloaded copy of utility bill

I've just sent a letter & payment to request the original copy of the Land registry title in the post. Hoping it comes soon! But i've read that the online version should also be acceptable. is that correct?

Relationship proof:
- Marriage certificate
- Email confirming booked wedding package
- photos of our wedding day
- Photos over the years showing us together (events / days out etc)
- flight confirmations for trips taken together
- flight confirmations for trips to visit each other in national countries
- screenshots of whatsapp conversation history over the years
- copies of letters/cards sent to each other

Additional information:
- sponsor's savings account statement - verified by bank
- Appendix of all documents supplied

Does that sound like i've covered everything?

QUESTION - After submitting the visa application and paying for it, is there a certain window/deadline to have documents uploaded to VFS global's site? I've seen some people complete that process a week after their initial application.

Thanks for this forum - it has been really helpful so far.

Thank you so much!

Do you know about the Title Registry and whether the downloaded version is acceptable? The information confirming me as theregostered owner is also quoted on the mortgage letter from my bank.

Appendix 2 and SU07 not needed.

The appendix 2 form is now integrated into the actual online application form.

.
Better to wait for the postal one which if won't arrive in timely then can download the online one, that is acceptable too.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Thank you for the updates on the Appendix 2 and SU07! And thanks for the advisory on the Title Register. I'm hpping it arrives in a few days time / early next week so will wait for it. I'm planning to submit the application this weekend then can upload the documents soon after.
