I am going to cry. I've contacted the Home Office by telephone, by email, by fax, begging for urgent treatment as I have a job offer with a start date of June 16 (which, by the way was included in my HSMP application and submitted by a consultant). I've now had to push back this start date twice. My new employer is being very patient but I can tell their patience will soon run out. The Home Office has told me nothing but "call back after 14 weeks". Unbelievably frustrating and such a silly and counter productive way to run the system.

Hi there

My HSMP application is dated April 8th. Does somebody already get approval and docs back via royal mail with an application date close to mine? I am worrying and still waiting .

Hello, Wht05, thanks for your message. on UKBA website it shows they are up to 4/28. I tried to call the no. 0114 207 4074 yesterday, the recorded message is only about 4/18 - very confusing- then the line was cut off. I called again but no one picked up the phone. Do you know how to get to talk to case worker?? based on my docs/evidences, I dont think it takes long for them to make a decision. Really I think by now they should have made decisions and we should have already got their letter and docs back. So what is going on? I am worrying the post is lying somewhere unnoticed in the royal mail office etc etc.

You need to press 2 and then 2 again. Then it will tell you to wait until the next available advisor. Just wait for about several mins and you can talk to them. I am also anxiously waiting for the result. Hope we are both good luck.

As per a precedent application was recieved on 17 april 2008 and approval letter is dated 27 August 2008
