My childs citizenship

Hi,

I wonder if someone could confirm my understanding please...

I am a british citizen, my wife is on a spouse visa and is due for an extension soon.
Our daughter was born last year in the UK. Does this make my daughter a british citizen as i am her father and a british citizen, and because of this she will not need a visa when we extend my wifes spouse visa under FLR(m).

Your understanding is right on all points, child is a British Citizen and no need for visa.
