I disagree that Set O applications are processed up to date. I am a Sept applicant, used IDV, my biometric appointment was cancelled by UKVCAS two weeks ago - I am still waiting for a decision. Not sure what I can do at this point, very depressed and tired of waiting. Anyone in a similar situation here?
I’m on the same boat.
Applied on 1 Sep. Did IDV on 21 Sep. Still waiting.
According to the timeline posts I recently saw someone who did IDV on 14 Sep being approved on 27 Oct. So I hope next week they will process my application.
Very few IDV only SET(O) entries on the timeline thread. I haven’t seen anyone who did IDV later than 14 Sep being approved (without dual submission).

@ajitu92 This is quite strange they should not even have opened their file yet. May be there was a typo in the date while reporting this.

@gynanp I cannot agree more. You pay the same fee for the same service but you are being put in a long queue.

@stonelove Thanks for your solidarity mate, you have waited for 5 months and you owe them an explanation as why you have lived this stressful experience while others are having their ILR in just few days.
Guys hats off to anyone who has waited for so long. I have lost hair on my head in just a week after biometrics. Completely agree that a service cannot favour one category over other while the fee is same for all categories. I can just wish it works out for everyone.

I have checked it does say it’s expired . Although it’s valid until 08/2021

Dont worry. Sometimes it does not work. Just wait for the BRP.
I have checked my junk email ,the approval email was in my junk .
I have applied 12th of Auguest Set O
Did IDV on the 5th of September
Appproval email received on the 27 of October

Good luck to everyone

I have checked for my partner ,it’s valid till 2021( is dependent ) for me it does say expired , does this mean
They have expired my visa because the send set o?
I’m so worried
Its a technical glitch. If you received an email that a BRP is on the way, the your application is successful.

Just hope you have enough hair. Worst case, we also are forced to wait few months if they load balance on IDV which they should TBH.

It’s incredibly biased against IDV only applicants. Submitted IDV on 23 September and now UKVI prevents dual submissions claiming it’s all by date. However October in person biometrics are being approved within a week for set (O). They do need to load balance teams to be fair to all

Glad to see your decision, it should be a successful result otherwise it won't say BRP is on the way. I applied just a few days after you and is SET O as well. After seeing all these Oct applicants receiving quick decisions it's great to know they are still dealing with Aug applicants. I almost felt that my application may have been forgotten by CW.

application was submitted 0n 27 October, since then I'm trying to get an appointment . most of the time there is no appointment however around 12am there are some appointments but on the payment page payment doesn't go through. is it because that appointment is already gone or is it a system error or something?

Hi all,
I received an approval letter by HO on 18th September. I was granted leave to remain as a refugee in the UK.
In the letter said that the BRP would have delivered within 7 days, sadly received nothing since this date.

I reported it 4 times, sent lot of emails to them and also one of MPs get in touch with HO, unfortunately it has still not been received...

Has anyone suffered with the same matter? please give me down ideas on this...

I am so depressed...

Might be a problem with the card? When you book an appointment, it's blocks the slot for 30mins. So, if you are on payment page, the slot is already reserved for you.

National lockdown from Wednesday expected, this will give UKVI another massive excuse to hide behind COVID-19 for their incompetence and poor management of day to day operations minus any accountability.

I am amazed how these checks they do are super quick when you used to pay extra for a same day decision. Pretty sure one member is correct here in saying the cases are just laying there waiting to be looked, probably their system sends an alert saying XYZ is approaching 6 months and then they would look at the case and send an approval.

Here’s to people getting their decisions soon as the lockdown situation cannot be avoided now

I think UKVI and Sopra are classified as essential services. So, hopefully they can work as usual. I was told by my attorney that, they have challenges around privacy approvals to work from home and hence can't work at the same level of efficiency if they were to miss office.
