Dear XXXX
Your application was submitted on 15-Sep-2020, the service standard for ILR application is that we will decide the application within 6 months of the application raised date.
You do not need to take any further action and once your application is with a case worker they will contact you if they need any further information.
Kind regards,
Does that mean that my application was not even assigned to case worker yet? after 1.5 month?
I got the same response to my mail. I submitted IDV only on 23 Sep. Only positive is that’s it’s not a generic mail but responded to by a human. The wait continues...

Did you check both Croydon centers? When I was trying, I could see free appointments here till late mornings.

Check tonight after 12AM. The system will show the slots for 28th day which should be a week day (30th Nov i think). If its a weekend all appointments are paid. Free appointments go quick on week days also.

I received the same email so I think its a generic email. I wouldnt concern much about "a CW hasnt been allocated" as I reckon the waiting is for being allocated to a CW, as once it gets allocated, the CW wouldnt take more than a day to make decision if all docs and criteria are satisfied (as we have seen people get next day or even same day results after they managed to provided Biometrics after a couple of months AND the fact that pre-covid, they can provide SP for next day result). So bottom line, we are in the queue for being allocated, which is determined based on Application Date, not Biometrics Enrollment Date. Per Timeline Thread, the move is now at 08 Oct application date for non-IDV

Not really IMHO, I submitted the application on 1st Oct and there have been decisions reported for applications submitted as late as the 18th Oct so I doubt the allocations follow a specific rule. I think it could be somewhat random.

Does anyone know if this email address works for SET O T2 dependent or not? I'm eager to find out if they've tried to contact me or not - from the responses you've got it's at least suggesting they didn't request any further info for you applications.

Hi there, need an urgent help. I submitted my ILR (SET LR) application a couple of days back and now unable to find any appointment in the next 4 weeks to submit biometrics. My current visa is expiring in 4 weeks. Should I wait for the email to submit biometrics through IDV app or continue to look for appointment ? Please suggest

Your visa expiry is irrelevant. Date of application is the date you pay and submit online. Biometrics date is irrelevant. As long you have made an in time application, you are covered via Section 3C until a decision is made.
PS: Look 12AM GMT tonight (in 48 min). You should get one for around 30th Nov. Slots open up at 12AM for one extra day.
IDV and emails are history. Book one now.

You need to book an appointment. Log in at 12am or shortly after (on the UKVCAS portal) and scroll to the end to find newly released appointments. Also make sure to check all centres not just ones in your area. You can also keep an eye on them at all times of the day as cancellations will appear as free slots in real time. Also once you you have submitted your application IN-TIME, your leave is extended by virtue of section 3C, so you do not need to worry even if you find an appointment for a date after your current leave expires.
