British citizenship post ILR

Post by drengshehata » Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:31 am

Hi there,

I just received my ILR card dated 28 Oct. The application was made in June 2020. Which date should I consider while applying for citizenship, one year from 28 October 2020 or the application date of the ILR or the date of first visa issue?

Thanks

One year from the date your ILR was granted. To keep things simple, 1 year from ILR BRP date of issue.

Assuming you are not married to a British Citizen.
