ILR 4-5 Years . please help ASAP ..

Hi All
i have a legal stay of 4years(work permit)+1year(student). I intended to apply for ILR now. But rules have been unfairly changed and now have to wait for 5 years even when i was given my work permit , it used to be 4 years..
But while searching on the internet , i realised there was a court case against that .Can anyone guide/help me on
1)what the verdict was?
2)should i apply for it after 4 years NOW
3)Copy of that verdict please

Anyways, to answer one of your questions - As of now, the qualifying period for ILR remains at 5 years. This essentially means that court case(s) lodged by (or on behalf of) WP holders in the past (if any) were in favor of UKBA.
