Post by s_saini » Tue Jul 22, 2008 1:23 pm

Dear all,
I have one problem,
My name on my passport is diffrent(i.e IN my passport my name is with my surname) But rest in all documents My name is without surname.

Can any one help me out from this situation,
what i have to do in this case.

Should I need to remove surname from my Passport?

Thanks

Affidavit Procedure

Post by dreamz_achiever » Sat Sep 13, 2008 9:50 pm

Hi,

Can you please also elaborate on the procedure to get affidavit in UK and approximate cost involved. I have inquired with many lawyers. I had mixed opition on that.

Some said, I can get an affidavit from them which is signed by them and that will do. The cost involved is around 40-90 £.

Some said, An affidavit should be signed by UK Notary. The cost involved will be around 200 £.

I would be very kind of you, if you can suggest which option to go with.

Thanks. Have a great day...
