Hello, hope all is well.
Looking for an expert opinion. I have recently received ILR and would like to register my child as a british citizen. He was born in UK in 2018 and just under 2 years old now. As I was filling up the online MN1 form I was stuck in referees section where it require two referees:
1. one referee should be a professional who has engaged with the child in a professional capacity, such as a teacher, health visitor, social worker or minister of religion.
2. the second referee must normally be the holder of a British citizen passport and either a professional person or over the age of 25.
I have managed second (colleague of mine kindly agreed to be a referee), however when called health visitor, she said they have never done it and it's not in their policy. And asked me tro try GP, GP has given similar answer. Now, my question is what should I do in this scenario as they are not willing to be a referee? Is there any other option?
P.S: There is no one else to whom the child engaged in a professional capacity.
Many thanks,
