Likewise. We did get a delay email on 15 Oct as well and we've not had any feedback/communication since then.
I did, however, call the UKVI yesterday to get a status update and they've told me to expect a status update response in the next 10 working days.
There is still no update on the decision timeline as I've been told that there is a huge backlog.

Did you apply in country or out of country? Which number did you use to inquire for your application status?shoaibrehman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 10:35 am

No, we do not have such issues. The only reason for delay mentioned was COVID. That's all. What about you?
Agreed but sadly all we can do is wait. I called them in the last week of October and I was told to expect a status update in 10 working days (which is the ends tomorrow) so fingers crossed we get SOMETHING.Sainatha wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:16 pmWe are also got the same email due to COVID it’s get delayed, but only few of us got this delay email, 2 of my friends applied in end of October they got approve on Monday( just with in 2 weeks time), that’s is the I am thinking, it’s really stressfulshoaibrehman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:09 pm

Did you apply via idv or biometrics? My visa got approved within 5 days but for my dependants it’s taking longer I don’t know how they decide some applications so quickly and keep the left waiting foreverSainatha wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:16 pmWe are also got the same email due to COVID it’s get delayed, but only few of us got this delay email, 2 of my friends applied in end of October they got approve on Monday( just with in 2 weeks time), that’s is the I am thinking, it’s really stressfulshoaibrehman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:09 pm

From what I’ve read around idv app verification applications are taking a bit longer than biometric ones. But at this point I think it makes no difference as my dependents went for biometric as well and it’s been close to 3 weeks now and have heard nothing at all.shoaibrehman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:31 pmWe used the IDV App and did the verification on 12 Sep 2020

Do you provide them UAN to tell your application status? I called On the number you provided but the automated voice message was saying that the representatives have no information about the Application Status.shoaibrehman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 12:49 pm
I'll give them another call tomorrow if I don't hear by then.
Can you please tell me what is meant by server standard time? How many weeks does it denote?shoaibrehman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 1:42 pmYou can only inquire about the status after the server standard time has passed. There is an option to choose the appropriate department when you call.
Thank you! By this it means I’m not eligible to check right now, Only for applications with pending decision for 8 weeksshoaibrehman wrote: ↑Tue Nov 10, 2020 1:48 pmSorry I meant Service Standard Time.
