Visa for second wife

Hi all,

if the divorce happened and i m planning to marry again is there any restrictions in Uk
for second marriage after the divorce
As i read that i have to wait for one year after divorce to be able to marry again and to apply for visa to my wife

You could have written or continued in your own thread. Anyways no wait is mandatory after divorce.

What about the polygamy
As if some one is settled in uk and
from back ground and Country that accept polygamy ,
And the marriage was out side the UK ,
So can he apply for a visa for his second wife.

The UK allows you to sponsor only one spouse.

In order to sponsor another, you need to prove that the first marriage is dissolved (by divorce/annulment) AND that the second marriage took place only after the first marriage was dissolved.

If the second marriage occurred when the first marriage was not dissolved, it is treated as if it never occurred, because you were not free to marry as per UK law at the time of the second marriage.
