If your BRP expires on 31 December 2024
You do not need to tell UKVI if your BRP expires on 31 December 2024 but you have leave to stay longer.
UKVI will update their information on how to update your BRP in early 2024. You do not need to do anything and your immigration status will not be affected.
Sorry, I misread what was written by @Jsm03, I read completely different thing. Better I keep quiet especially Mondays as it's the start of the week and all the stress comes outCR001 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 6:29 pmNo one has ever said an official weblink cannot be posted!!!

I read the timeline post too, and was also wondering the same, as my application was submitted earlier than the timeline of the post... It may just be a coincidence of timing - that somebody's case might have been on the verge of being processed anyway. Honestly think it's not a strong case to escalate through MP only after <4 weeks of biometrics.gag285 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 9:48 amSomebody reported contacting their MP within like 6-7 weeks of their application and getting a response after the MP escalated. This seems odd because I was hearing (not sure where) that UKVI were not taking escalations any more and escalating within 6 months is anyways unlikely to yield anything. This makes me curious now as there are people here who have been waiting for much longer but as CULLINAN would put it not playing the MP card until 6 months are over.
Couldn't agree more. I am stressed but understand that some people are just plain lucky.aclondon2 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 10:01 amI read the timeline post too, and was also wondering the same, as my application was submitted earlier than the timeline of the post... To answer, I submitted mine on 01st Oct with in person biometrics on 23rd Oct with nothing so far. I think swift decisions ended in the week commencing 26th Oct. I know at least two in this forum who have a similar timeline as mine and awaiting decision.raj_262920 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 10:52 amHi
just generally asking, the ILR timelines, i see the major delays are mainly with the IDV app applicants, what about people who attended after 23 sep for biometric appointement? it seems they are getting a decision within 2 weeks?
Thanks
Thanks, ya, it seems some are lucky, someone gave biometric on 29th Oct and got a decision on 4th Nov as pe r the ILR timelines posts, and some gave on 15th oct and got decision on 8th Nov.gag285 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 10:57 amTo answer, I submitted mine on 01st Oct with in person biometrics on 23rd Oct with nothing so far. Obviously. Why would you need to keep your Tier 2 BRP when you have ILR BRP???kraviraj82 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 12:19 pmHi All,
Need advise. I received my Set LR - IlR BRP card and the HO approval email says to you cut the previous grant of leave and send to their address, My question is my earlier visa was Tier 2 General which is still valid until 2022, should I still need to cut & send it ?
Thanks
Ravi

Yes, I already said this last week. Things have gone to a standstill with lockdown 2.0
Hi Gilo, yup set M applicant, (partner), here also, applied 02/09/20, face-to-face appt 16/09/20. There are others in the forum also, plus some June/July applicants still waiting I believe. Patience is a virtue in the absence of effective communication from HO on application status- the decision will come!
Glad to know that there is somebody waiting as well.. should I just book an in person appointment... struggle..nevsito wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 5:23 pmHi Gilo, yup set M applicant, (partner), here also, applied 02/09/20, face-to-face appt 16/09/20.
