iLR application - Clarification needed

Post by spadidela » Thu Nov 12, 2020 12:24 pm

I am filling the iLR application form and am confused with the below
questions.

My history:

First UK entry - 7th Feb 2015 on dependent of Tier2
Tier 2 Visa approved - 21st Dec 2015(applied from India) and entered in UK on 9th Jan 2016
Tier 2 extension: till 15th Jan 2022

1. "When did you first enter the UK?
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing
this application on started."

what should be the answer to the above question?
is it Feb 2015 or Dec 2015 or Jan 2016?

2. we know that we can apply for visa 28 days before 5 yrs completion of
your current visa. is so
what date I should consider counting 28 days, is it a Visa approved date
(21 Dec 2015) or entered in UK date (9 Jan 2016)

Can someone help me in this regard?

1. The question clearly states the date you ENTERED the UK on which the application/residence is based, which is 9th January 2016 that your ilr application is based on. Your tier 2 dependent time is irrelevant.

2. Date your tier 2 general visa was granted in December 2015 minus 28 days.

Hi,

As you know, we need to make an entry to all absences from the first entry to the UK.
I have visited my home country several times and usually, Most of my trips to my home country were for 6 weeks (4 weeks Holidays + 2 weeks working from my home country).

1. How can I convey that I also worked during my stay in India?
in this case, what should I answer the below question?

"What was the reason for this time spent outside the UK and Crown Dependencies?
Provide reasons, including if you were travelling through, for each country you spent time in during this period of absence"

2. can anyone send me the sample letters of Employer letter and Absence letter?

Thanks in advance.
