FLR Tier 1 (HSMP) FORM Clarifications

Post by sghanate » Mon Sep 15, 2008 9:52 pm

I am applying for extension using FLR Tier 1 (HSMP) form and also including two of my dependents in the same form.

Please could some one clarify or provide some info for filling below questions in the form?

5. Total number of applications(1-10) ? Should it be 1 or 3 ?
6. How many applications are to be PAID 1 or EXEMPT Do I need to specify anything for exempt ?
7. Applicant's Surname, DOB, number of passports, ? Do I need to specify dependents details in line 02 and 03 of question 7?

Regards

As you are applying along with your dependents you have to fill the form separately for each dependents, however you have to pay only 750 quids. if you send your dependent applications later, then it wil be charged separately.

Wrong.

5) 1
6) 1
7) Applicant's details and total number of passports.

UKBA has given you the wrong advice.

Reading the guidance notes *always helps*. Read para 3, 4, 30, 31 and 32 of the FLR Tier 1 (HSMP) guidance.

Oh...

Thanks for informing......

In the guidance notes it specifies

"Form FLR Tier 1 (HSMP) can also be used to apply for an extension of stay (limited leave to remain) in the UK for the following dependants if they are applying at the same time as you:"

It is not clear whether I can use the same form or different application form?

If dependents are wife or parter and children under 18 you should include their name in same form ie. you need to fill only one form.

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions....

I called UKBA today and they suggested that for dependents ( wife and child under eighteen) we can use the same applicaton form.

In my case total applicants including dependents are 3. So answers to below questions?

5. Total number of applications(1-10) ? 1
6. How many applications are to be PAID 1 or EXEMPT
7. Applicant's Surname, DOB, number of passports, ? Need to specify only main applicants details, with number of passports as 3 and paid for 1 on line 01
