Family Route

Post by fou001 » Mon Nov 23, 2020 4:50 pm

Hi all,

I came to UK on student visa in 2013 June, switched to PBS Dependent visa in 2016 June and another extension of PBS Dependent in 2019 Jan. My partner got ILR in 2020 Feb and applying for British Citizenship in February 2021.

My visa of PBS Dependent is expiring in 2021 Jan , I am applying for Family Route and my kids both 6 Years and 2 years applied for registering as British citizen once my partner got ILR.

Do I qualify for ILR in 2023 :?:

Thanks everyone for your help and time.

Yes under 10 years of long residence which allows the accumulation of all type of visas. For this purpose the following criteria as defined in official guidance must be met.

Hi,

Sorry to jump in your topic.
I know your choice of the 10 yrs family is valid, but there is another option.
1- Why did you have to extend your PBS dep visa Jan 2019 and not June 2019
2- You could have used PBS dependent route of 5 years to apply for ILR in June 2021?
3- is it because your partner is now British citizen or because of broken relationship?

I will appreciate your answers to the abovementioned.

Thanks

1. Please do not dig up older topics to tag into. Please start your own topic with your questions.

2. The members spouse got ilr based on long residence, making the member ineligible for PBS dependent extension or ilr based on PBS dependent route.
