Tier 2 visa changing jobs

Hi,
I am on tier 2 general and changing my job.
My new job starts feb 2021 and I have resigned my current job. My employer wants my last day to be 4th dec 2020.
Is there a poblem with my visa perspective (or 5 years on tier 2 for PR) if there is a gap of 2 months where I will be without job.
What can be the maximum days I can remain off cos without causing any problem to my PR route?
Is it like the last day of my current work should be 31st jan and new cos starting immediately from 1st feb?
Please assist me.
