Email from CT3 Casework Enquiries

Post by justininlondon » Sun Nov 29, 2020 11:33 am

A quick and hopefully easy question!

I was born in the US and am British by descent. My children were also born in the US, so aren’t British — we’ve been living here in the UK for 4.5 years now, and I applied for citizenship for them under MN1.

I received an email from the Home Office “CT3 Casework Enquiries” email address last week asking for further evidence of my and my children’s residence in the UK.

I scanned copies of my P60s and wage slips that cover the three year period, and have letters from their nursery/primary school and GP confirming that they’ve been registered and present during the three year period. — The evidence that the Home Office highlighted as being acceptable evidence in their email.

I wrote a friendly cover letter, and attached the documents replying to the original email from the Home Office.

I asked for a confirmation that they’ve received it, as their letter said that if they didn’t receive it the applications would be denied. But of course haven’t heard anything back.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Can I relax, or is there a way to follow it up? Or should I send in paper copies? If so, to where...? The letter has the generic Home Office address in Liverpool but otherwise is pretty unhelpful on this front.
