EU Treaty Right - Self Sufficient

Post by White_Pearl » Sun Nov 29, 2020 9:04 pm

Hello all......

I have a question.

Can anyone please explain what does exactly mean residing as financial self sufficiency? (With comprehensive health insurance)

Does it mean X amount on your bank account which will be sufficient to cover daily expenses?

From my reading of the relevant document section there seems to be no expectation/explanation of where the funds are deposited. In my opinion it's unlikely to matter as long as funds availability can be demonstrated for any time period, i.e. by way of bank statements. And bank transfers even for private customers are superfast these days.
