I have included the following documents for my ILR on Tier 2 G main (which was asked by the checklist). Is there anything which I have been missed?

1. Passport (current and old ones)
2. Current BRP
3. Language Certificate (Valid IELTS Life Skills B1)
4. Life in the UK Test (I put the number into the application plus screen shot of the result)
5. Latest Pay Slip stamped by the employer (salary 40000 a year for 37hr work a week)
6. Bank Statement printed in the branch (shows my latest payslip into my account)
7. One Letter from employer saying the required things (such as foreseeable future, pay over the required and so ) plus stating that my listed absences were paid
8. Signed consent form for Verification Check
9. Police Registration

Just came across this want to clarify something about the qualifying date:

If the two are different, which one should be used, date your visa is issued as on your BRP or the date you entered the country.

Example: Date visa issued on BRP 10/jan/16
Date entered the country: 31/jan/16

Which of the two date above should be used?

For ILR Tier 2 G Main, do we need to provide any evidence for Continuous residence such as council tax statements, utility bills, mortgage statements, tenancy agreements?

I ask this question because I see this in many websites but it was not asked by the checklist niether Tier 2 policy guidence!

Above mentioned documents are only required from the dependants but not from the main applicant to prove the subsisting relationships through cohabitation evidences.

In page 71 of ``Tier 2 of the Points Based System – Policy Guidance''; documents needed for ILR section says;

``You must also provide your child’s birth or adoption certificate as appropriate, where one has been issued.''

I did not include the birth certificate of my child because it was not in the checklist and he was not included in the application, and in the cover letter I explained that I will apply for him the citizenship right after I got my ILR.

Should I have included his birth certificate my application? could this be a cause for delay?

Hi,

As I have medical health issues, I contacted the MP, trying to get an update on my case.

The MP contacted me back giving me an update from UKVI, and saying my case is complex and needs further check, so there are nothing they can do!

The only thing which I can think is that I was arrested by the police once, but it resulted as No Further Action (NFA) due to insufficient evidence (so no charge no warning, nothing). I did declare this in my cover letter and attached the NFA letter from police!

Also, I have two PCNs which I did not declare because they were issues by council and paid on time. Also, my driving license is clean (no history of penalty or whatever)

Are these could be a cause for delay? could be a reason for refusal?

NFA would not result in any refusal. There is no requirement to declare an arrest alone with NFA also. It will have no impact though.

No one on here can answer you the reason why HO said its complex. You will keep worrying and this does not help you in any way nor speed up the process.
You have used the best means to get answer from HO I.e. MP and gave you feedback that they gave him. Try exercise patience and or be on MPs neck (which i don't think can help further).

You do not get to determine if an application is straightforward or not. That is not up to you. We do not know what are the factors. Some applications raise complex issues and may require further checks. You must wait to hear back as it can take up to 6 months. Contacting UKVI probably gets you the same response.

I just got my approval. after more than two months stress, I just got the approval email.
