Hi All, I have uploaded my documents last Saturday and yesterday I submitted my biometric in person, just checked the UKVCAS and still shows my appointment and allows me to cancel the appointment and allows me to upload new documents (dis function was locked yesterday) so my question is:
Does anyone else allowed to upload more documents after submitting biometrics or does it mean UKVCAS didn't send my documents to Homeoffice? Or messed things up?
This is completely normal. The UKVCAS portal doesn't update for a long time. Do not touch/mess with it. And no, you can't upload any more documents now.
That's what bothers me, the upload button is active, so if I want I can upload more documents and it's strange. Please note I can no longer remove the uploaded documents but upload functionality works, so I am just wondering of it's normal!!!

You CAN upload more but CAN NOT submit. You SHOULD NOT upload anymore or play with it, that is what he meant.

Nothing new apart from "Aberdeen Service Point now open" I guess.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

I've already uploaded all required documents.
Do I need to bring them to the UKVCAS meeting?
It is always best to self-submit before appointment but this option is only available up to 48hrs before appointment. You only need to carry originals (although it will not be checked). No need to print soft copies. Just passport and appointment confirmation is mandatory.

Hi All,

I had posted my timeline last to last week when I got my ILR approved on 20th November but ever since I have not had any communication on the BRP dispatching side. Today is the 10th working day and no email on BRP being dispatched, will be able to raise a formal complaint tomorrow.

Has anyone else faced or noticed such delay in BRP being delivered?

I sent complaint to home office (just to see what response I get) as 26 July set LR applicant. Reply that i received stated that case is still in queue and would remain there until assigned. Anf thats in date order. I don't really understand why it hasn't been assigned or picked yet as those who applied after me has got their approvals. Is that a generic response or if its specific its already 5th month. What would you advise?

Hi Amy, Which email address did you use? I applied in June LR (M).

Dear friends, as expected I saw last night on fb someone saying that his wife set(M) application was approved on 27/11/20 and she applied only on 02/10/20 having done biometrics on 07/10/20. This was my nightmare and fear that I shared with you previously and which came true, thanks to the Home Office.

I have emailed them mentioning the above and the Moon guy replied to me after just few minutes confirming that they are assessing applications in chronological order and that they will be in touch in due course with further information. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything apart from waiting as they are not even aware that they are not following any chronological order or logic in assessing applications.

Have a nice day all.

Hi Ameline, great minds think alike! I was going to post some information about the October SET (M) application that got speedy approval in less than two months. It's completely unreasonable to process October applications when there are so many June/July/Aug/Sept still pending. I don't think that the 'complex case' explanation applies to all of those.

I am a July SET (M) applicant and have contacted my MP a month ago to kindly request them to enquire with HO about the status of my application. After a month of no contact, the MP replied that the HO couldn't explain the delay in processing my application, but would come back with an answer by next week.

I do think it's a matter of a case worker going off sick and the cases in their pot not being reassigned to other case workers. Of course they will only be picked up once the applicant makes a complaint and they investigate what's happening with the person's case. The two cases of delays that made the news got immediate approvals.

I have raised a formal complaint to both my local MP and the HomeOffice to investigate the slow decision rate of SET (M) applications. I emphasised on the fact that the majority of June/July/August applicant were still awaiting a decision and the story of complex cases cannot be played here. Also, applications are not being dealt with in chronological order as claimed by UKVI with the high decision turnaround time for SET(O) applications.

Hi would you happen to know the best email to complain? I'm a June applicant

Search for ukvi complaints on gov.uk and fill the online form.
