Wow that is outrageous! have you tried calling them. I appreciate its covid and they are under pressure but 6 months is more than enough time for them to make a decision when actual standard service timeframe is only 8 weeks!!
Its been 10 weeks since biometric on mine case. Not a word yet. But i am hopeful something comes up before xmas. Best of luck to you.

Hi folks,

Can someone help, please? I'm helping a friend with her FLR FP 5 year parent route application. She is a single parent and sole carer for her two British kids was given 2.5 years on that route in 2018. It is due for renewal in January 2021.

Does she need to provide details of her ex (children's father) even though they didn't live together and he doesn't play any role in her daughters' lives? I mean, can she just tick 'no' the question 'Have you previously been married or in a civil partnership?'. They were in a romantic relationship though they lived separately until things down and he has essentially abandoned parental responsibility for their kids so she has been their sole carer since birth.

Thanks

Its been nearly 2.5 months since i applied for my Mrs flr fp 3rd visa extension as a 10 years partner route, I am and our children all British , she done her bio on 7 October 2020, no response no acknowledgement / receipt. Phone their helpline , they said for all Flr fp it's 6 months wait. Just a very generic answer, call handle tone was don't call us.....🤨

I contact my MP who was extremely helpful he wrote to UKVI on 1 Dec , now we waiting for some Christmas Santa to deliver our surprise 😀

Our timeline looks 1 week apart. My one is extension too. You would think that extension would be straightforward and quick decision but no its too much to ask from ukvi.
My last 3 applications were ' same day service ', so this sort of waiting is too much to take for me!
I am hopeful for xmas miracle too. If not, i will give them a ring in January and go from there.
Best of luck.

Hi all,

Just a little update on my FLR fp application timeline:

Aug14.2020- online application
October 28- biometrics in lunar house Croydon
Same day I submitted supporting Documents on their Sheffield office.

Dec4.2020- today the HO asking me again to submit my supporting documents on their email , so I did but I made an explanation letter that I’ve delivered and posted it all to them on October 29,2020 with reference number and screenshot of signature and name who received it along with whatever documents I have with my phone.

My solicitor told me they will be giving decision in few days time when they do ask the whereabouts of my supporting docs. So hopefully fingers crossed I’m so fed up on waiting, my partner has been on and off in portugal to see the family without me and yesterday my dearest friend passed away due to cancer , it’s been 9years I’ve never seen my family. I needed a good news soon . I’ve been feeling so down lately

Thank you for prompt response.

Does your NHS Surcharge Summary statement states your visa type is FLM M even though you completed FLR FP online form? The form is super confusing and i don't want to submit the incorrect form.

thanks

I can't see that NHS Surcharge Summary statement says anything about visa type. I believe I only received the acknowledgment email nothing else no PDF. Or probably I don't remember.
However the Copy of supporting documents checklist and the copy of application form in the main UKVI website in further actions section does states :
Visa: Family Route
And that's it . it doesn't says FLR M / FP

So the way I understand it its one application form for both family routes. But when they go through it they differentiate its merit and decide either its FP OR M
