Tier 2 General ( Restricted Cos ) + Second Job

Hi,

I am in Tier 2 General visa and my BRP says Restricted Work. Iam a working in a private dental clinic

1. Am i eligible to take a second job on Tue / Wed / Thu ?
2. Should i inform home office if i take a second job ?
3. Can i take second job in teaching profession ( part time ) ?

Can someone please help me with this query ?

You can do a second job for max 20 hours per week and it must be in the same SOC and job level as your sponsored main job, so no you cannot teach if your main job is a dentist. You cannot do a second job within the hours of your contracted main job hours, not even if you take leave. A second job must be outside of your normal contracted hours.

No need to inform HO.

Thanks for the response. In my CoS I have this defined under SOC 2215

"Prepares and delivers lectures, undertakes research, and conducts and participates in clinical trials"

Still am I restricted to take second job in teaching profession as a partime outside the x hours mentioned in CoS ? Please clarify
