Sent Urgent Treat ment last week thru royal mail as well faxed copy 28/08.

I spoke to HO , they confirmed that my urgent treatment application has been recieved and accepted for urgent treatment.
However he refused to suggest me when I can expect a decision, which seem logical.
Any way I will be calling HO on Friday again

Now my timelines are

Can u Throw some light on my problem

Post by narsii » Wed Sep 10, 2008 1:40 pm

Hi All,

can any one help me in clarifying my doubt

As per the Guidance the evidence for maintainance funds, and bank statements must be dated no more than 7 days before the application is submitted.

Is there any requirement that the Payslips that are attested by the (previous) employers has any time line... ( I.e ) the date of attenstation should be no more than 'n' days before the application is submitted.

Thanks and regards
Narsii

Got the visa stamped ... Hooray

Post by neeraj_chennai » Sat Sep 13, 2008 5:37 am

hi guys,

got my Tier-1 visa yesterday, stamped for three years, feels good :D
would like to thank ppl in this forum for all the help. this is a great place for applicants.

My details are given below:

Applied: 11th Aug 2008 at VFS, Mumbai South
Points claimed for attributes: Salary 45 + Qualification 30 = 75 only
(as my MBA college was not on calculator and while I had applied for NARIC assesment, it was taking time. In fact, I haven't got NARIC letter till date  )
Integra Verification: My company got a call asking whether I work there or not, on 18th Aug
VISA stamped date: 10th Sep (took 19 working days) :D

Documents submitted:
Education:
1) Graduation degree and marksheets
2) MBA degree and marksheets (even though was not claiming points)

Salary
1) Stamped and signed slips
2) Bank statement showing credits
3) Income tax returns
4) Salary certificate from company mentioning last 12 month salary details

English Language:
my graduation university (University of Indore) was on the NARIC database points calculator

Maintenance funds:
I had 5000 GBP equivalent lying in a savings account (not salary account) for a long time. Gave that statement and also a letter from the bank stating the minimum balance

I also submitted some other documents to make my application stronger, as suggested by ppl in the forum. There include:
1. My resume
2. All prior work experience certificates
3. My job potential in UK (gave a write-up and gave print outs of e-mails that I have exchanged with some potential employers, even though I haven't got an offer yet)
4. Accomodation proof (hotel reservation in London for 10 days)
5. Print out of calculator on-line assesment
6. Marriage certificate

Out of the above, 2), 4), 5) and 6) were also advised by VFS. I think one should call VFS helpline and discuss list of documents needed, that is very helpful.

Also, made each section separate with separate cover letters.

Will be glad to help anyone else ..

Meanwhile, focussing on my job search ..

Bye

Neeraj

Hi Jay
I applied on the exact same date as yours and got confirmation receipt on 1st sept(dated 29th august) from UK.
No news after that. I think I will wait till first week of October and then call them up. No point expecting it so early.

Hi Ganeshji
I made a fresh Tier-1 General Application on 21/Aug/2008 from VFS Bangalore. When contacted with VFS on 15th,Sep they said that Integra Verification Reports have reached BHC. The recent status as on today is that "We cant give you an approximate/exact time frame for a decision to be made".
Also not confirming at least whether a Case Worker has taken up my Case or not. The BHC is very tight-fisted in sharing any info. on the status
I am hoping that I would receive my Docs around first/second week of October as there are 2 holidays in first 10 days of October.

Hi Ganeshji
Made a fresh Tier-1 General Application from VFS Bangalore on 21 Aug,2008. BHC confirmed on 15th,Sep,2008 that they got Integra Report but very much tight-fisted in sharing any further info. there on.
No way that we can get the result with in September as per the postings by other members who applied during the same period.
Anticipating that the result will get delayed still further as there are 2 holidays in first 10 days of October.
Lets hope for the best.

Thanks In Advance

Tier-1 stamped

Post by anubhav78 » Wed Sep 24, 2008 7:57 am

Hi,

I received my passport stamped with the Tier 1 on 19th Sept, 2008.
I had applied on 28th Aug, 2008 from the Mumbai North VFS office.
I did have an issue with my previous income wherein I uplifted 2 months of my Indian salary even though I was in UK.
I did see many applicants getting a letter along with the passport and documents stating the points considered for each section.
I did not receive any such letter. Just the passport and my return documents.
Not worried too much for it though.
