Two years absence on ILR

Post by Sukujobo » Thu Dec 10, 2020 4:19 am

I was on ILR when I left the UK in Aug 2018 to be with my parents during my child’s birth and was expecting to return to the UK in early 2020, but due to the pandemic my plans were delayed and now, I’ve exceeded the two years limit on my ILR to be away from the UK.

My husband is a naturalised British citizen and my 1.5 year old is going through the process of getting her citizenship.

What options do I have to re-enter the UK to be with my child and husband?

Thank you in advance.
