Above will cover the relevant period which seems insufficient with heavier gap. You need to fill the gap even with the documents in sole name. If there is no dependant applying then these won't be needed to the main applicant.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

@seagul: Many Thanks for your kind reply. Will the below documents be sufficient?

2019
April- Council tax (both names)
May-Electoral cards(self and partner)
Sep-Online Bank Statement (both names)
Dec- Electoral cards(self and partner)
2020
Jan-PaySlip(self)

If you have joint bank account then add those statements for every 3-4 months, e.g Apr 2019, Aug 2019, Dec 2019, Apr 2020...and so on.

Do the same with other sources as well to bump up the evidence.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

These sound fine. However, if you have something between Jan 2019 - April 2019 then don't leave it idle.

@seagul: I got it in my name but don't have anything for my partner between Mar 2018 to April 2019. We travelled to India in Jan 2019 and came back in Feb. Can I attach the passport stamps copy showing we travelled together?
She got few eBay order emails showing address for Jan 2019 and few in 2018. Can we use these?

Appreciate your great help.

2016 : 24
2017 : 29
2018 : 8
2019 : 24
2020 : 29

Note: Days calculated excluding departure and arrival dates

You need the letter mainly to list your absences from the UK. Either personal or work reasons, but just concentrate on absences where you were out of the UK.

No need to list annual leaves if any of those were within the UK.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

@srsw: Many Thanks for your kind reply. I am looking to be prepared for applying after 2 months so can the absence letter and employment letter to confirm I am required in job for foreseeable future be dated more than 1 or 2 months before the date of application?

The letter just be dated within 28 days before the date you apply online.

@seagul: Many Thanks for your answers. I got further questions. Do I need to maintain any funds in my account for ILR(Tier 2 general) self and partner?
I got an old bank account still active. Can I add my spouse name now so online statement will have both names?
Council tax copy seems to be a photocopy as I used the original for kids passport renewal. Can I still use that or better use the bill available online for same date?

There's no maintenance requirement for ILR so no minimum funds required.

Yes, you can add your spouse if you want up build additional cohabitation proofs.

Use online one as it's pretty much the norm these days, as long as it's not marked "online copy".
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.

Hi CR001 & Team,

First, Happy New Year to you all.

I received single letter from HR for both absence & employment reference. Is one letter fine and can I please request someone to check if the below information in the letter looks good?

"We confirm that all of xxxx xxxx's holidays included in the below schedule of absences have been taken in line with his paid annual leave entitlement.

The Nearest Applicable Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code which best describes his
employment is xxxx
£xx,xxx (£xx.xx per hour) Going rate.
We confirm that xxxxx still requires the services of xxxxx xxxxxx and that we will continue to employ him for the foreseeable future in his current capacity as position - xxxxxxx.

xxxxxx xxxxxx’s current rate of pay is at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in
the codes of practice for Tier 2 sponsors"
This reference is not for the purpose of supporting an employment application.

Date of entry to the company is mentioned as the date I joined in India 10 years back while I am applying for ILR in Tier 2 gen (5 years) route. Is this ok?

Many Thanks in advance for your help.

Letter content looks fine, however, the start date of employment 10 years back could be confusing as max stay on Tier 2 was 6 years.

If possible see if they can just mention UK start date as per tier 2. But if they don't, you could add a cover letter explaining the start date in the employer letter.
My advice is based on personal research/experience, so pls check relevant UKVI sources.
