Hi there, I will be grateful if someone could help me with the answer ... I am in Flr fp (parent) 10 year route and about to finish 2.5 years so first extension ahead. My son got British pp and I applied for my daughters citizenship. I also have another new born daughter as well as I have wife
Now
1. Do I have any chance to switch any shorter category like 5 years?
2. In this category no financial/ bank?
3. No English?

2. Wrong. A parent claims child benefit NOT the child. If the parent has "no recourse to public funds" on their brp card, the CANNOT claim ANY benefits.

Hi All,

Just submitted my application online, they immediately send me a link email to register with Sopra Steria to book appointment. But after completing the registration I couldn't find any appointment date, no available date till 26 of January.

1) My question is, there any other way to book appointment?

2) Can someone guide me on how to upload the document correctly

Thanks

1. There is nothing unusual about the availability you've mentioned. It's not the best but it's what a lot of applicants are faced with.

They have mentioned you can also book an appointment by telephone. The call is likely to be expensive.

2. The important thing is that all the required documents are uploaded.

Sorry I thought OP spouse / partner is settled / BC and they aiming to claim on that persons name.

Like my spouse is on FLR and I am and our children are BC, whatever benefits (CB, CT) I claims addresses to me only, apart from TC.

In my understanding if case worker pickup the phone and dial our council for my spouse enquiry the answer will be negative cos all the correspondence is on my name, same goes to CB. However our TC is on joint names.

Thanks for ur reply.

About the uploading of documents,

Just want to know how to upload it, is there any specific size of the file to upload. And is there any different if I went for the appointment for them to do it for me.

Just asking all this questions because this is my first extention, I have not did it this online application before.

You are better served uploading by yourself as it keeps you in control of what is uploaded and how many unlike when it is done at appointment where limitations to number of some docs can be limited.
Clear/legible documents, File not to exceed 6MB and PDF appears to be most acceptable format.

This is what I find when I'm about to upload the document, but I'm confused because I don't know where to upload the document on the list below.

Below is the list I find on the uploading page.

Other
Residences in the uk

Should i upload all the documents in the Other section, or is there any specific section for all documents types.

Mate most of these headings are pretty much self-explanatory.

Residences in the uk: Passports, visa, visa letters,
Finances: Bank statements, pay slips, p60 etc
Proof of business : Business docs
Life Events : photographs, child births
Medical information : NHS Docs, illnesses etc
Sponsor/ employment : Spouse status, P60s etc
Educational : IELTS, English tests
Proof of Application : etc
Other: whatever support your application

Just categories your documents and upload them in their most relevant and logical sections.

Well, I paid for my Mrs back in September
Leave to remain fee : £1,033
NHS (IHS): £1000
Total: £2033
Plus some random expenses too like biometrict £20, UKVCAS appointment fee: £150, scanning fee, etc etc

But mind you that was September, don't know how much the current fee is now.
