Anyone have any idea when I will get a call?
Are they still calling sponsers and employers?

They have become more relaxed with applications but no call is also not guaranteed, it'll be coming from an unknown number if they do.
I'm also currently waiting for a response or call, it's been 23 weekdays for me so far.
Where are you applying from?

Usually anywhere up to 12 weeks, Some at 6 weeks, some at 10. It all depends on your luck and how backlogged they are. Judging from the Pakistan timelines thread it seems 8 weeks is how long most people are waiting.
However, as everyone knows the Christmas and new year period just ended and we're back in national lockdown, so it is possible it can take longer than 12 weeks.

It varies. Some are contacted other are not.

There is no assurance or guarantee that the will call or not. There are applicant who got notification of decision away after call from HO, so no method to the madness I.e. you can not track a pattern.
Is there or are there reasons why you are worried or concerned about being called or not?

no I just though the call is guaranteed that’s all and when I would get it as I am now on the 9th week so was wondering why it had not come but if it is 50/50 that I am not worried

Not everyone gets a call, the calls are made if there is reason for them to clarify or investigate a thing or the other.

It's been 9 weeks since my husband applied. He attended his appointment on 4th Nov. We are still waiting. Sadly no calls from the home office so far . Its our first wedding anniversary next week and we can't be together. Praying we can be together soon.

Hopefully it doesn't take more than 12 weeks!! My solicitor said it doesn't matter if there is a national lockdown they get back to you by 12th week unless your case is complicated.

I was talking to somebody who had her biometric on the 3 nov and she received a email yesterday saying her decision has been made. Hope we get good news soon to! Good luck

I work in a university and no I havn't asked my employer so not sure if they had a call from the home office.
