Urgent help - ILR application questions.

Post by sensoricaine » Sun Jan 03, 2021 12:14 pm

Hi all,
I am submitting my SET(O) application [Tier 2 general 5 yr route] in this week. I have gained immensely from this forum and got help with lots of questions. Many questions might have been discussed previously. Just wanted to double check the following with a senior member before submitting.

1) Date of visa issue on BRP and vignette - 03/02/2016
Date of entry 10/02/2016
Planning to submit the application 28 days before 02/02/2021 ie 05/01/2021
Q) Is the application date correct?
Q) Should I mention the period between 03/02/2016 to 10/02/2016 as absence from UK.

2) Have you spent any of your two, three or five year continuous period (as appropriate) with leave to enter or remain in the Crown Dependencies? I have visited Jersey for 3 days vacation. Do I mention this here or somewhere else on the form

3) No Fixed penalty notice or any kind of offence but 2 bus lane and 1 parking fine. Paid within 14 days.
Where to mention this?

4) I had a previous Tier 5 dependant visa immediately before the current Tier 2 General. I have given the HO reference for that in the relevant column. I have been to India a couple of times during the visa period. Left before the expiry.Any details need mentioning anywhere.

5) Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth? I am including the countries I have visited or lived. None of the stay is more than 4 weeks. Is that ok?

Thanks in anticipation. Apologies if the questions have been asked before.

Thankyou very much for your advice.

Just a quick clarification about #2 above.

2) Is the question about Channel Island related to visit or working there?
I thought it’s related to taxation rules being different if you have worked there.

I am really sorry for being too thick but do I need to mention my 3 days vacation in this column

2) Have you spent any of your two, three or five year continuous period (as appropriate) with leave to enter or remain in the Crown Dependencies

Is it not for people have worked there.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

No.
Thanks for your prompt response.

Could you please slightly expand your answer. Does your No means-
Not to mention the vacation as answer to this question.

Thanks Zimba.

I was confused by your earlier reply as ‘yes’ to this question (2). Later CR001 replied ‘no’. Probably, I should have framed the questions in a better way.

Finally, I am going to write NO as answer to this.
