@Shanvasu
Don't know why SET LR decisions are slow.
I am one of the August SET LR applicants still waiting. Its nerve wracking when you see most of the August applications have already been decided and HO have moved on to September.
Yes, it makes no sense as I have been on the same visa(Tier 2 ICT) and the same employer throughout my 10 years, so must be straightforward. My previous Tier 2 extension(in Jan 2020) decision came in one day
My wait has entered the fifth month.
The way HO work, I have seen some applications falling through the cracks and it appears I may need to consider myself as one of those unlucky.

I do not see your entry on the timeline thread. When have you applied?
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

I understand your pain, even you planned for your dependants visa and all on dec, i know how disappointed you are. I'm applied on Oct 20 only so mine will eventually come through and not expecting. But lost a job offer which I never tried in 10 years, all wasted with priority service waiting , i was thinking to update the timeline with good news but now thinking that would be happen in Jan at all.

Hope you will get soon, Mate. You are so supportive to this forum and helped me in the past and other members. Your good deed will pay off soon.

Received my approval earlier today. Set LR, applied 08/09/2020. Seems it is moving forward so there is hope.

Many thanks to all the helpful members, and good luck everyone.

Congratulations! 🎊🎉🎊 Our timelines are identical. I applied on 8th September and biometrics on 21st September in Sunderland! Hoping mine is on the way too! :D What time did you receive the approval, by the way?

Ah, I picked Sunderland cause I figured that parking would be easier (and it was!). Thank you for letting me know! Really hoping it is!

Hi All.

We are Set (M) - Is there any particular reason why some categories get processed first?

Are case workers qualified to process all categories or do they specialise (I guess that would be a reason).

Also thinking that Set (M) are likely to be in a more stable family position, less likely to be thinking about travelling, or because Right to Work is extended while decision is being made, so no urgency is required.

Maybe none of these reasons are valid and we just drew the short straw. Ho-hum-diddly-dum...
back to checking every day.

More record numbers today... Stay safe all,
Phil

Hi Guys, We got ILR decision on 14Dec(Set O with wife and daughter). Solicitor has received daughter's BRP on 28Dec but nothing for us. Not even the tracking mail. She has already reached out to HO but no update yet. Not sure if it's common for year end approvals.

Thanks Cullinan. Solicitor claims to be able to talk to someone in HO. Will follow this thread and share my experience there.

Maybe irrelevant to respond now but if someone has the same question, my solicitor said to scan only front page, back and visa vignette, no other pages.
How do you plan to prove your continuous residence for ILR then?
Different routes have different requirements. For SETM there are no absence limits but for other routes there are.
wouldn't case worker have the original passport in hand? also providing an excel for absences.
ps: I am set o applicant.
@camil , originals documents are NOT submitted anymore!! Everything is scanned digitally to ukcvas.
The requirement is to declare your absences not prove it, and in the checklist for mandatory documents it is not mentioned you need proof of the absences. The more documents you submit the longer it takes for them to check every single one of them and make a decision. Besides I don’t know about you but my stamps (i have used Almost every single page of it) are not clear and frequently put on top of each other.

Dear All,

FYI. I was june applicant and received approval as mentioned before end of December.

I did send in an complaint. Got the feedback from the complaint. Apparently they approved my application back in October 2020. But they didn't received my change of address in time so they had sent the letter to my old address rather than emailing me. They had apologised. I would recommend complaining to HO and the are very specific and advised me.

Hi all,

Was wondering if there has been any recent stats of approvals for SET(M) applicants who applied in September?

Thanks.

I know mods are probably sick of this question, but does anyone have any assumptions to when priority service will return?

Also does anyone know if NHS workers can ask for the process to be sped up?

^ Thankyou for your response, another probably silly question
- can solicitors speed up the visa process? Due to my situation I really cannot afford to wait long. I’ve been informed that solicitors can speed up decisions but I’m skeptical of this. (student finance deadlines)
