Hi - Are we seeing general delays in BRP delivery these days? The ILR was approved on the 6th but no news of the BRP yet - not even the dispatch email.
Hi, FYI - I got the approval email on 7th and received an email re BRP delivery yesterday (11th) from brp.courier.delivery@notifications.service.gov.uk. FedEx will be the courier. The estimated delivery date is tomorrow (13th).
If you don't mind me asking, which region of the country are you based in? I ask as both TNT and FedEx have been quoted as being couriers for home office BRP deliveries, just trying to figure out whether couriers are allocated based on geographical area/region.
Sure, no problem. I'm based in Scotland. There is a note in the delivery email saying: Please note that our supplier has recently changed its registered name from TNT to FedEx Express UK. You may still receive TNT branded messages from them.

Lets the agonizing wait begin!

OMG OMG OMG! It just came through at 13:23!!!!!! I honestly cannot believe it! Thank you so much everyone, especially all the regular and extremely helpful contributors and moderators (you all know who you are). Tonight will be the best sleep I will have had in last 12 months! Mine was approved 14Dec. No delivery info or BRP card yet. Solicitor says she has a bunch of missing/delayed BRPs. Not sure if it's a common issue.

Hi Guys, I am looking for some quick help. My solicitor hasnt received my BRP card and I wrote to BRPDelivery@homeoffice.gov.uk and surprisingly got a reply in less than 10mins. The eMail says :

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the delivery of this Biometric Residence Permit (BRP). According to TNT, the courier’s tracking system, this BRP was delivered to: XXX Address

Delivery Reference number: 1005XXXXX, 1005XXXXX.

I am not able to track the delivery on TNT based on these 9 digit reference number. Would anyone of you who got the delivery intimation eMail be able to help with the correct TNT tracking link and confirm if you also have a 9 digit delivery reference number, please?

Thanks a lot. This link works. I can see a delivery picture of my BRP. Looks like my solicitor has lost it. Might have to report lost and re-apply 😐.

You have to cancel your existing appointment first, only then will you be able to see available appointments and subsequently book another.

Upload all statement pages.

Just a little update, received BRP today. Track e-mail received 09/01/2021.

Missed first delivery attempt yesterday. Apparently they do not send it through letter box anymore. However the deliverer didn't ask me to sign anything or show any ID today either. Probably they just have to make sure the mail is delivered to a person?

New applicants:

Steps to follow after completing the form online:

Step 1: Pay and submit application via UKVI.

Tip: Date of application is the date you pay and submit online, biometrics date is irrelevant.

Step 2: After payment, you will reach “further actions page.” If you click on “book an appointment,” system will reroute you to create an account on UKVCAS where you can upload your documents and book an appointment.

Tip: You are sent an access code to set up an account on UKVCAS which usually lands up in Junk folder.

Step 3: Booking an appointment

You must book an appointment now. IDV is the past except T4.

Tip: You are given a deadline to submit your biometrics on the further actions page. Since the backlog for biometrics has subsided, you should meet the deadline i.e. 45 working days.

Step 4: Now you can submit your documents to UKVI via UKVCAS portal even before your biometrics. The option usually appears when you have uploaded all your documents, sign out and sign in again. The option can be found on the “document upload page” right at the bottom.

Note: Self-submission is OPTIONAL. If you want to benefit from the new feature, you must upload and self-submit up to 48hrs before the appointment. If you do NOT want to self-submit, you can upload ANYTIME before the appointment date and submit at the appointment itself. Self-submission is recommended as you may save some processing time - your documents are sent to UKVI even before biometrics in this case. You can self-submit only ONCE. But if you forget to upload any documents, you can always upload later on (after self-submission) and submit at the appointment then (you will not be able to self-submit again but can submit at appointment).

Read “self-submit” “submit” “upload”

Tip: The best approach would be to benefit from the new self-submit feature.

Step 5: Once the process as stated above is completed, you should wait for a decision.

Tip: Keep a check on your email/junk folder.

.

I agree - received my BRP today and it was handed to the receptionist instead of inserting into the letterbox.

I applied/submitted biometrics on 2/10/2020 and I am still pending a decision.

In the meantime I was offered another job. Is it possible to change sponsorship mid application?

Applied 27/10/20 - Still Waiting.

Had a very straightforward case: SET (O), T2 one employer, no dependents, same address the last five years.
