Processing tims for 20 year route

Hi,

How long does it usually take to hear back on application to settle in the UK via 20 year route. My mum has been in UK for 20 years. I am looking to go abroad to get married in March but I am thinking whether I should wait until July if she was to get her leave to stay in UK by then. Any ideas how long it is likely to take please ?
