Leave to remain or ILR?

Post by dreamer2 » Mon Jan 25, 2021 10:11 pm

Hello, I really hope to get some opinions from the lawyers here.
Situation: First Spouse visa with dependant was granted in June 2016, with BRP expired on 25th March.
On 11th March 2019- my leave to remain application was turned into 10 years route due to my mistake on the bank statement and I received a new BRP which expires on 21th November 2021.
On 25th March ( last day of my first BRP) I reapplied and was granted to 5 years route.
I know that Immigration office clear says that if you switch from 10 years route to 5 years route your time starts from scratch. BUT: I have reapplied within 14 days the decision was made and within expiry day on my first BRP. Also, I was pushed to 10 years route as I have a british child so I didn't have right for appeal. But in my case if I would get refusal I could lawfully reapply for 5 years route.
My question is : do I have any chance to get ILR if I apply in june 2021 ( after 5 years in the country , with two x 2.5 months on % years route with 14 days break ?
Somebody stated that it should be 5 years with no more than 14 days break.
Any thoughts please?
