they are the same thing except that Tier 2 General is now Skilled Worker and what you would be applying for is called "permission to stay". Remember, you'll need a CoS from your new sponsor before you can apply
Why would you believe there no longer an ILR (indefinite leave to remain) option?? Nothing has changed in this regard. ILR is still the same and still applicable/available.Sorry I’m confused, I thought there is no longer ILR?

Yes, she needs a ukvi approved English B1 test or UK naric herself. This in addition to the life in the UK test both of you also need for ilr.Just curious, would my wife require to take a test, she’s been with me since the start as a dependant? When we first applied for the tier 2 she didn’t need a NARIC though.
No bank or maintenance funds no. She must provide 2 years evidence of cohabitation in both your names, from 3 to 6 different sources, spread evenly for every 3 to 4 month months.Sorry also do you know if she needs to provide bank details of any kind or proof of residence or anything like that?
