Change of address

Hi please can anyone advise on how long address change takes during the current lockdown climate?

I have done my virtual ceremony with Manchester Council but unfortunately they insist on sending the naturalisation certificate to my solicitors address who again unfortunately for me have moved address before my citizenship invitation letter was sent.

I have asked them to send it to my address but they insist they need to check with Home office and ignored my collection request which I understand. My solicitor say they have redirection in place and have submitted the address change for the solicitors on Monday.

Anyone with similar issues will redirection work on special delivery postage?
