Hi,
I don't want to be disrespectful, but it's worth doing basic research because most of these elementary aspects have been already discussed throughout this thread.

I would like ask for everybody
Is there anybody applied and got it new EUSS card with old BRC expiry date (2022, 2023 or 2024)

I think your old card expiry date is very important for your application priority, otherwise you gonna wait more longer.

My husband card was about to expire so I don’t think he will receive an email asking if he agree to swap from EEA to EUSS status as this is now the only option

Hi,

I am sailing with your husband in same boat...
I had 5 years brc
I have applied for pre settled status in 2019 and got it...
In October I have completed my five years cycle and applied for settled status which I received in end of November 2020 ..
My 5years brc was expired on 16 dec 2020
So I had to apply for replacement in December 2020
I did my bio matric on 4th jan 2021

Waiting ...... for their reply

Question 1

I did not receive any email from apad to confirm my change? (Is that because my brc card is already expired?)

Question 2

Is there any way I can track my application? Call? Email? Or any other medium I can contact them?

Question 3

My wife is moving out and going to file a divorce unfortunately will that effect any of the decisions?
Or do I have to change anything if we are divorced?

Question 4
Once I receive my card do I have to send it again for verification to Liverpool?
Hello,
Q1: I cannot guarantee as we also didn’t receive any confirmation but I thing this might be the reason, I just sent an email today to make sure everything is going well

Q2: apparently there is no way to track the application unless if it is taking more than 8 weeks, but you can still call the resolution centre and ask for an update or email apad@homeoffice.gov.uk

Q3: I don’t think this will affect your card application, has for your settle status I don’t know maybe someone else can respond to this question but I would advise you to ask a solicitor or a lawyer.

Q4: At the moment you don’t have to send your card again after receiving it, unless there is a major change such as your first name etc..
Thank you so much! I have got Apad email today that I will get my card delivered in 7 days..

Here is my history of that help someone..

Does anyone here had a delay in receiving the BRC after the decision letter from HO? I am waiting for more than 2 weeks now for the delivery of the BRC.

I did ! I applied mid September 2020, biometric done in person first week of October 2020 and received the decision email end of December 2020 and got the card delivered in Jan 2021 first week . Again I sent it for updating online details mid Jan and received the card back today, exactly four weeks. Hope this info helps someone ! The HO is really burdened atm and is short staffed as well ... I made a couple of calls to the UKVI and EUSS resolution centre throughout the process. All I learnt is a little patience goes a long way :)

From the day of biometrics about 2.5 months... But some get it earlier or later, it's case to case dependent I guess and obviously the covid situation doesn't help either...

Hey Guys!!! I finally got my BRC for Settled Status.... Game Over..
However, I'd like to share my journey and it's struggles and show how difficult the UK government has made it for people like us. But, my true intention is to try and help people in my situation and to help them speed up the process a little. I'm going to share the entire correspondence I've had with APAD with regards to the BRC, of course maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the content in it.

Okay here it goes guys...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BRC Application date: 09/12/2020
Biometrics submission date: 05/01/2021
Email sent to APAD to chase up on: 03/02/2021
APAD response that BRC has been issued on: 09/02/2021
Another Email sent to APAD asking for consignment number for the delivery of the BRC: 09/02/2021
BRC Settled Status received on: 15/02/2021
APAD response with TNT tracking number: 15/02/2021

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Email sent to APAD to chase up on: 03/02/2021:

xxx xxxxx <xxxxx@gmail.com>

to APAD

Date: 03.02.2021

Home Office Reference No (UAN): xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx/xx.
Applicant Name: xxxx xxxx.
D.O.B: xx/xx/xxxx.
Passport No: xxxxxxxx.
Nationality: xxxxxx.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I made an application on the 08.12.2020 to update and replace my biometric residence card which was issued under EU regulations to EU Settlement scheme. I was granted Settled status (ILR) and received a letter dated 03.12.2020 to confirm this. I attended an appointment with Sopra Steria (UKVCAS) on the 05.01.2021 to provide my biometrics information and any documents which were requested as part of the application.

However, I have not yet received a decision on my case and it's almost been 2 months now. I already had to wait for over 6 months for you to process my EU Settlement scheme application which was very straight forward and I didn't knew I had to make a separate application for BRC which makes no sense and it seems like a time wasting exercise and a waste of valuable resources. My grandmother passed away last week and I couldn't travel to say her my last goodbyes because of not having a physical proof of my status.

This delay is causing me a lot of issues in terms of work and securing reasonable accommodation. This is ultimately affecting my family as I need to move in to a bigger house and I'm struggling to prove my status because of not having a physical document. In theory, I can always prove my status online but practically it's not always possible to do so in every circumstance.

This is a simple, straight forward case as I'm already in possession of indefinite leave to remain (Settled status). I will also seek help from my local MP to find out if this is a reasonable time frame to process applications and I'll also ask my MP to get in touch with you to find out more about my case. But, I hope it wouldn't get to escalating things any further and you would be kind enough to update me and process my application as soon as possible.

Regards!
xxxx xxxxx.

NOTE: UNFORTUNATELY, MY DARLING GRANDMOTHER DID PASS AWAY DURING THESE DAYS AND I COULDN'T TRAVEL BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL PROOF OF MY SETTLE STATUS.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Ref: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for getting back to me to confirm that a BRC for Settled Status under EU Settlement scheme has been issued and will arrive within 7 working days. However, it's again a half resolution and another time wasting exercise and a waste of resources as you've not provided me with any tracking details of the delivery provider, I believe it's TNT in this case. Because you've not provided the tracking details in the previous email I'm having to email you back and you'll be having to respond to me resulting in a waste of time and resources of both of us. I would need these details in case I need to contact the BRP team for any issues with the delivery. It is specifically mentioned on the link that you provided in your previous email for the BRP team (www.gov.uk/brp) to first contact TNT with the consignment number before getting in touch with BRP team.

Aside from this, I would explore the options to investigate your policies, procedures and practices to find out how efficiently are the resources being put to use that you have and how effectively are you maintaining the quality and standards and if the performances of the people responsible are being cross checked.

Could you kindly provide me with the delivery tracking details.

Regards!
xxxx xxxxxx.

BRC Settled Status received on: 15/02/2021. It's a blue and pink card with ten years validity and just to avoid any confusion it is an indefinite leave to remain card.

Okay guys that's it.. From my experience, I can certainly say that chasing these people either by email or phone call does have an impact on the speed of your application. As you can see from the information above they responded with a decision in just 4 working days. Aside from this BRC application, even with my original Settlement Scheme application itself it was a very similar pattern. I got a decision on my application for the Settlement Scheme in less than a week after chasing up with a telephone call and explaining to them what my next steps will be if the application is not dealt with in a timely manner avoiding any further delays.

I felt an obligation to post my journey here on immigration boards and a very massive thank you to immigrationboards.com and all it's staff and it's wonderful members. You've no idea how many people are being helped and supported through this wonderful website.

If I can be of any help to someone with regards to these issues please do leave a message here on this thread, I will definitely try my best if it is with in my reach.

All the very best to everyone with their applications and lives ahead!! Have a good one .....

Hey guy! @Kuliska02... My Original BRC which was under the EEA regulations expired at the end of October 2020 while my Settlement Scheme application was still in the process. I received the decision in the first week of December 2020. Then, I made an application for a replacement BRC under Settlement Scheme.

@Daral 20... I think my post was too big for you to read the email address for the APAD. I directly copy pasted the entire email correspondence with the APAD and you're still asking for the email. Please have some respect for the person who makes an effort to post the best available information they have and make some time to read the post. Anyway, I'll repeat it again. The email address to contact the homeoffice for BRC is APAD@homeoffice.gov.uk

I hope that helps...

Hi Daral20, I'd suggest you chase it up with the APAD for the decision. I believe 5+ weeks after biometrics is more than enough time for them to process any application for BRC and your time actually starts from the date of application and not biometrics if I'm not mistaken. So, go after them for a decision...

I hope that helps..

Hi thank you for your response, we sent an email on the 2/02/2020 to the apad still no response, we called the resolution centre today they said is another department that is in charge so there is nothing that can be done we just need to wait, at this stage I don’t know what else could be done..
my husband was granted the settled status on the 11/02, we had a biometric appointment on the same day, so it has been 5+ weeks since the decision and the biometric

Thank you for your help

Hi Daral20.. The EU resolution centre doesn't deal with the Brp/Brc cases, this is what I've said in the email to the homeoffice, they've made the process extremely complicated and difficult for novices, like us. If it's been at least two weeks since you've sent that email then go for a follow up email and mention the date you've sent the first email. Explain any difficulties you've encountered due to the delay and if there are any ongoing problems because of it. I hope it works for you and gets sorted asap...

Finally Finally after an agonising wait of 5 months in total, i received my card today even more so waiting for 3+ weeks for the delivery alone. I have updated my details online. it didnt ask me to post the new card back as there are no major changes.
Finally, could anyone tell me how long it took for the changes to get reflected in your online details once you update it? Thanks.
