Service type for dependant ILR Application

Hi All

I will be eligible to apply for ILR as Tier 2 dependant from 22nd February 2021. My wife (main applicant) has submitted her ILR application on 31st January, 2021 and waiting for decision. Since there was no priority service available at the time she applied for Standard application. Though there are many people still obtained Decision with in 3 to 5 working days, her application is still waiting for decision.

1) Now that I have facility to apply in Priority service, will I be able to get the decision with in 5 working days while my Main applicant's decision is still waiting? I will be adding her application reference as part of my application.
2) Or is it waste of money and just apply for Standard application?
3) Will my application be considered on it's own or will it be set to pending upon decision on her application?

1. No. Your outcome will only happen once the main applicants ilr is approved. You cannot get ilr independently of the main pbs visa holder.

2. Yes and yes.

3. Depends on the main applicants ilr decision. If their ilr is refused, your ilr will also be refused. You cannot get ilr as a PBS dependent without the main PBS visa holder applying at the same time or already holding ilr when you apply. The rules don't permit this.
