FAX NOT WORKING????

FAX NOT WORKING????

Hello All,

I am trying to send a fax to HSMP fax no.+44-114-2593827. I either hear a engage tone or a continuous ring tone.. The fax machine is not accepting faxes at all. I tried sending fax from 4 different machines but to no avail.

Anybody faced this problem??

Yes this has also happened to me...I ended up mailing my documents.

I also had same problem. I tried it for couple of days, but could not succeed. It seems that the machine is switched off. Very Strange. Not sure if this is deliberatly done to discourage Review applications

Hi,

I spoke to the HSMP team yesterday and requested them to switch on the fax and explained to them the problem....The lady simply said " We are having some problems with the fax. Please keep trying".

So I guess we guys have no option but to KEEP TRYING as HSMP Dept I guess is NOT RESPONSIBLE to get the fax machine fixed (Sarcastic)

it seems the fax is still 'not working'. What you should try doing is
1. Scan the documents and email them to HSMP.Workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
2. If your email has 'faxing' capabilities, use that
3. above all You should send hardcopies in the post a.s.a.p.

I sent one document by fax (+441142593827) on 04/05/05 and I called them on 9th to confirm the receipt. But they said they got some problem with the fax and gave me another no as +441142593516. So I faxed again on this new no. and its gone perfectly. Again I called them today they said still they got the fax problem so it is not received. Finaly I send it in pdf format by email today. Hope they will accept it.
