Tier 4 extension and PSW

I am currently on Tier 4 student visa expiring 11 October 2021. I was supposed to start dissertation now, but I am retaking a unit so I will start dissertation in June 2021 and finish in October 2021. First of all, will I need a tier 4 student visa extension?
Secondly, If I get a visa extension would I still qualify for PSW after completing my course on extended visa?

Not if you already have enough time to complete your studies.

The rules for the Graduate route have not been published yet.

It depends what the full rules for the Graduate say is required exactly, and they have not been announced yet.
