IHS refund on Change of Employer within Tier 2 Gen

Hello experts,
I started living and working in the UK from July, 2019 on a 5 years Tier 2 Gen visa for which I paid an IHS surcharge of £2000. In Nov, 2020 I switched employer after receiving a new BRP valid for 3 years having to pay the IHS surcharge again £1200. I understand that I am entitled to receive an IHS refund for the overlapping years within 6 weeks of me getting the new BRP. But it has been more than 4 months and I haven't yet received it. Not sure if its delayed due to Covid.

Is anyone else in a similar situation waiting for the refund?

Who should I reach out to if I haven't yet received the refund?

IHSrefunds@homeoffice.gov.uk

There are other posts where applicants mention delays due Covid-19.

My last IHS refund took more than 6 weeks before pandemic.

@lolo2 could you please tell where does the IHS refund come to? The new card you pay with or the old card you used to pay the IHS fee initially?

The IHS refund will go to the original payment method.

If you no longer have access to this account, I would contact the IHS refunds department (email above) to let them know about this situation. They should be able to advise.
