I have an expired IELTS C1 certificate... Do I need to sit for a new exam?

Post by Joeyjoe » Wed Feb 24, 2021 8:57 am

Hello,

As part of my entry clearance back in 2012 (Tire 2 General) I submitted an IELTS General test and got accepted.
Since then we changed our status to a different route and got ILR last year. We were exempt from language requirements for ILR.

Now we are preparing to apply for naturalisation, Can I re-use a scanned copy of my IELTS test since it was accepted already to enter the country or do I have to sit for a new exam?

In the governments guides page 15 below they talk about this but not exactly the above situation

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 6.0ext.pdf

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
